  STATUS: Commercial. BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A 1923 U.S. immigration document indicates he was living and working in Toronto, ON, as a photographer. On a 1941 U.S. border crossing record it's noted he had lived between 1911 and 1930 in New York, California and Arizona. He also operated in Vancouver in the mid to late 1930s under the name Aber Studio Ltd. He immigrated permanently to the U.S. in 1946 and settled in Los Angeles, CA, where he continued to work as a photographer. He applied for U.S. citizenship in Mar 1949.
