    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: This firm issued a "Views in British Columbia" series. While based in "Lion City, IL", this city is not listed in William D. Barge and Norman W. Caldwell's "Illinois Place-Names", Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society, Vol. 29, No. 3 (Oct 1936), p. 189-311, nor in Henry Gannett's The Origin of Certain Place Names in the United States (2nd ed., 1905). There is a Zion City in Illinois, a utopian theocratic community founded in 1901 by a single individual, and there was a Zion Photographic Studio there.
    • FORMATS: Stereographs.
