    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He lived in BC twice, the first time working as a farmer in the Peachland area in 1901 with his brother Andrew, and the second time beginning in 1910 following his marriage in England. He was listed as a photographer in the 1911 Canada census while living in Kamloops with his wife Edith and eight-month old daughter. He was still active as a photographer in 1912 as the Kamloops Inland Sentinel noted his contribution of a photograph of the Provincial Home for the Aged and Infirm for its centenary edition which was published on 3 Aug 1912. The photograph of the exterior of the Provincial Home appears on p. 1 of section 5 of the centenary edition issue. This issue also included a photograph of his daughter Gertrude Edith age 10 months. The BC Archives holds a photograph of the Tranquille Sanatorium's dining room.
