    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Listed as a photographer in the 1911 Canada census, he initially worked with his brother A.E. Shaw in the Shaw Brothers firm. By 1913 W.A. and Horace Shaw, who were residing at the same address, were working with "investments". By 1920 he was the proprietor of the Clarence Hotel in Victoria.
