By 1910 the retail store of Bailey Brothers Company, Limited was succeeded by that of the Granville Stationery Company, Limited, 540 Granville Street.

On 4 Sep 1895 Bailey Brothers Company, Limited was registered under the 1890 Companies Act. The principals in the company were the brothers and their brother-in-law Joseph Coupland. When the company dissolved in the late 1930s, it was noted in one newspaper that it was one of the oldest companies incorporated under the 1890 Companies Act.
