    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Although listed as a photographer in the provincial 1916 Vancouver voters list, the business directories show him as working for IXL Laundry.

      According to the 1911 he immigrated from England in 1909 and was working for a gas company (the gas department of BC Electric Railway according to the 1911 Vancouver business directory). His wife's name was Elizabeth. She passed away in 1922 so when he remarried in 1924 his marital status was widower. [9]
