    • STATUS: Commercial (visit).
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Watkins brief visit to Victoria was part of a tour of the Pacific Northwest. He made some panoramas of the city. Details of his life can be found in numerous articles and several books, including a detailed account in Palmquist (1983). According to Alinder (1979), views from this trip were published under the title "New Series of Pacific Coast Views" which included stereograph cards as well as large prints.
