BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: After working as a photographer in Radium Hot Springs in the early 1930s, he appears to have relocated to Vancouver where he was listed as a photographer in the 1940 Vancouver Centre federal electoral district voters list. The 1940 and 1941 diretories, however, only show a "Harry C. Vooerhoeve" working as a bookkeeper for London Paper. By 1945 he and his wife had moved to Dawson, YT, where he was working as an accountant according to the federal voters list. As late as 1965, a Harry C. Voorhoeve, still employed as an accountant, was working in BC and listed in the federal voters list that year under the Coast-Capilano Electoral District. A Harry Cornelius Voorhoeve, the same individual based on his widow's name and her 1995 death registration record, who had worked as an accountant since ca. 1941, passed away in 1967.
