    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He worked as a photographer in Revelstoke from the mid-1910s to the mid-1930s. In the 1921 Canada census he is married. Around May 1922 he acquired R.J. Binning's Cranbrook home and studio, but he did not last long and had disposed of the studio by Oct 1922 to C. Van Braam and returned to Revelstoke. Barton was last listed as a photographer in the 1937 business directory.
