    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: According to the 1911 Canada census he had immigrated in 1906 with his father, mother and sister. They lived in Winnipeg, MB, where his father worked as a janitor. In the 1921 Canada census, at age 18, he was living with his parents in Winnipeg and working as an "office boy". In the 1931 Canada census, at age 27, he was living with his father, step-mother and step-brother, however, Leslie was listed as the step-son. He worked in an orchestra as a musician.
      He was listed as the manager of the Nanaimo branch of Meyers Studios in the 1941 BC business directory. His death registration record indicates he had been a photographer.
