    In a talk to the Kumtuks Club of Victoria she described her experience photographing for five years the inside of the second largest steel plant "in America".

    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: At the time of her marriage in Vancouver under her birth name of Lavinia Farmer in Vancouver she gave her occupation as a photographer. Following her marriage she moved to her husband's residence in Saanich.

      The 1921 Canada census does not record an occupation for her. In her 1923 Victoria business directory she shared the same address in the Pemberton Building as her husband, Roderick Dhu McCrea, a civil engineer.

      She and her husband eventually returned to Ontario.
