Yarrington and Rappertie news, Williamsport, PA, Sunday Breakfast Table, 18 Feb 1883, p. 8.
Two surprising reveals in this news account are that A.S. Rappertie had previously worked in San Francisco and Sacramento, and that his new photographic partnership with Henry Colt Yarrington (1835-1910) in Williamsport, PA, specialized in what sound suspiciously like the Gems of British Columbia by Mrs. R. Maynard's studio, his previous employer, except that the Pennsylvania portraits consisted of "persons of all ages and sizes."
