  STATUS: Commercial. BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: On 27 Jun 1898 he wrote to Vancouver City Council requesting permission to operate a portable studio until such time as he could open a permanent studio in a building. The letter was written in Vancouver. His request appears not to have been granted as he next surfaces in Rossland.
