  STATUS: Studio. BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Established by David and G.T. Wadds about Nov 1892, the firm operated branches in Nelson (David) and Brooklyn. David Wadds also worked as an itinerant photographer beginning in 1902, utilizing J.H. Blome's old studio in Grand Forks. A sister to David and G.T., Mrs. Agnes Mount, worked as a clerk for the firm in the 1900s. The business was primarily portrait taking and was last listed in Nelson in the 1905 business directory and in Vancouver in the 1912 business directory. The Wadds Brothers Vancouver studio was destroyed by fire in 1912. IDENTIFYING MARKS: "Wadds Bros. Vancouver, B.C." or "Wadds Bros. Vancouver & Nelson, B.C." on front of print mount.
