  STATUS: Commercial (visit). BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Established in Toronto about 1862 as a portrait and landscape photographer, Anderson called his studio the Pantechnetheca Gallery. While visiting in Vancouver he stayed at the White Swan Hotel. His ad read: "Views and groups taken to order, cheap and good, by R.W.
