    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A photo in the City of Vancouver Archives is dated 1888. Williams was listed as president of the Vancouver Camera Club in the directories of 1897-1899. He was a surveyor with his brother Sidney (Williams Brothers). In 1904 John became provincial inspector of fisheries.
