    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Prior to turning to photography he was a musician. He was first listed as a photographer in the 1937 business directory. He was listed as the proprietor of the Western Studio in Victoria between 1939 and 1950-1951. In the 1951 business directory he was listed as operating a highway repair service.
      When he and his bride married in 1942 they both gave their occupation as photographers. Prior to being married, however, she was listed as a bookkeeper (business address undetermined).
