    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He arrived in the USA in 1893 with his brother C.H. Muirhead. In 1896 they formed a partnership in Sidney, BC, as Muirhead Brothers.

      According to Jones (1976), L.P. worked as a commercial marine photographer between around 1908 and 1920. L.P. registered as an "alien" for the US military draft on 12 Sep 1918. At the time of the 14th US Census (1920), L.P. was living in Seattle, WA, with his wife Margaret and nine-year old daughter Marion born in Washington State. L.P. moved back to England from Seattle in 1926 and was living in Biddenham, Bedford, in 1936. C.H. Muirhead's 1957 obituary reported L.P. Muirhead as still living in England.
