    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Having moved to BC from Ontario, he sold insurance the year before he entered photography. By 1920 he either changed the spelling of his last name to Harper or it really was Harper and he was working as a salesman for a company which sold cemetery monuments. The 1921 Canada census listed him as a real estate salesman; he was married with three daughters. By 1925 he was listed as a chiropractor, a job he held until 1946 according to the death registration record for Almond Edgar Harper.
