    • STATUS: Commercial.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Headquartered in Winnipeg between 1881 and 1887, Bingham formed a partnership with A.B. Thom about May 1883. He travelled extensively along the CPR line and described himself as the "Official Photographer C.P.R." Their partnership had dissolved ca. 1886. By 1888 he was in partnership with C.S. Bailey in Vancouver and subsequently moved back to the United States where he continued to practice photography in the early 1890s in disparate geographic locations such as Superior, Wisconsin and Omaham, NB. By 1895 he was in San Francisco, CA, where he married Alice M. Garcelon. According to the Manitoba Photographers Index, he lived out his life in Pomona City, CA (1910) and Los Angeles, CA (1920-1929).
