    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: The daughter of General Charles Grey and sister of the 4th Earl of Grey, she married the 4th Earl of Minto (1845-1914) in 1883. While he was Governor-General of Canada (1898-1904), they took the train to the Klondike so he could personally examine the situation there. Harry Graham, aide-de-camp to the Governor-General, reported in his journal Across Canada to the Klondyke, that Her Excellency carried a Kodak camera. Several of her photographs illustrate the published version of Graham's journal.
