    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A daughter of Hannah and Richard Maynard, she was married to James F. Macdonald (1852-1912) at the time of the 1881 census. Her age is given as 21, occupation, photographer, no doubt an assistant to her mother or father. She and her husband, from whom she filed for divorce in Jun 1892, had three children: Harry Hatherly Macdonald and Maynard Macdonald, and a third child, Albert James Macdonald, living with Richard and Hannah Maynard at the time Emma died. Her portrait appears in a few of her mother's multiple exposure tableaux.
