    • STATUS: Amateur.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A son of William Ferriman Salsbury (1847-1938), a prominent Vancouver figure, Frederick arrived in Vancouver in 1886 with his family from Lachine, Quebec. He was working as a clerk at the Bank of British North America in 1897 and later moved to Dawson City, Yukon Territory, where he worked for the same bank. He retired as manager of a branch in North Vancouver. He was secretary of the Vancouver Camera Club in 1897.
