    • STATUS: Amateur.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Born in Denmark, he and most of his family arrived in Vancouver in 1893. In the 1901 census his occupation is law student. Viggo later became solicitor to the BC Electric Company. The building at the corner of Dunsmuir and Seymour, known as the Railway Club, was initially known as the Laursen Building. In addition to being an amateur photographer, he was also a member of the Burrard Inlet Rowing Club in 1898 and the Vancouver Rowing Club in 1899. [3, 4, 5]
