    • STATUS: Amateur.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: An Anglican missionary to this Haida community in Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands), he arrived at Masset from Moose Fort in 1890 and remained there until 1898. Upon his return from furlough in England he was stationed at Metlakatla in 1900. Having returned to England, in 1917 he was appointed vicar of Galleywood, succeeding the Rev. E.N. Dew who had left for Monmouth.
