    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He arrived in Victoria in the late 1880s or early 1890s and worked as a draughtsman and architect. He was a Royal Engineer from 1897 to 1903, but retired in 1904 and then returned to work as an architect from 1909 to 1911.
