    • STATUS: Commercial.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: While definitely not a photographer of the Klondike rush, according to Grainger (1992), the Dedman Photography Shop purchased the building once housing the studio of E.A. Hegg. After Henry Dedman died, his wife and business partner, Bessie (White) Dedman continued to manage the studio until her retirement. The shop also sold copy prints taken during the Klondike stampede by various photographers. The business continues to be operated by family in Skagway.
