    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: According to his obituary he arrived in Vancouver in 1887 aboard the first train from Montreal. While he was listed as a bookbinder's apprentice in the 1897-1898 and 1900+ directories, he was shown as a photographer in the 1899 directory. At the time of his death he was a vice president of the Wrigley Printing Company, Vancouver, a position he had held for nearly twenty years. He was considered to be one of the most outstanding bookbinders in Canada.
