    • STATUS: Amateur.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A purser on the steamer Strathcona, he photographed along the coast and up the Stikine River as far as Lake Lindeman. Two views of Port Simpson signed and dated 1900 are in Howay & Scholefield. He is of no apparent relation to Dr. Henry Ernest Tremayne (b. 1873), a physician who moved to B.C. from Ontario in 1906.
