    The Vancouver Daily World took note of John E. Thompson's photographing of a street railway pole being erected on Cordova St.

    • STATUS: Commercial.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He established his studio in a tent at the rear of 76 Cordova St. and promptly got reported by the fire inspector. He requested clemency from the City Council, but it is not known if his appeal was granted. He was still in business in May 1890.
