  STATUS: Commercial. BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: According to the 1891 Canada census (23 May), he was 16 and living with his widowed mother and an uncle in Vancouver. No occupation was given. The 1891 city directory (preface date of Jan 1891), however, shows him working as a clerk at the Vancouver Photo Company, then as a photographer at the same address in 1892. Although not listed in the 1894 directory, Biggart is listed as a photographer in the 1895 directory.
