    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A passenger on the cruise ship Ancon to Glacier Bay, Alaska, she photographed a mirage at Muir Glacier on 23 Jul 1889. Her father[?], Alexander Badlam, published this image in Chapter 10 of his book The Wonders of Alaska (1891). Also reproduced in this chapter are the purportedly mirage images taken in 1888 and 1889 respectively by R.G. Willoughby and one of the I.W. Taber and Company photographers.
