    • STATUS: Commercial (itinerant and studio).
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Primarily an itinerant photographer, he photographed throughout southeast Alaska and Siberia with his base in Nome. It is not known if he photographed aspects of the Klondike gold rush. He published a souvenir album of views in 1904 and sold his business in 1908 to the Lomen Brothers, subsequently moving to Seattle where he operated as the "Alaskan Studio". He photographed at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (Seattle) in 1909 and appears to have founded the Seattle Moving Picture Company that year for which he was president and treasurer. [3]
