    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He was in partnership with one of his brothers in New Westminster, either Wheatley or William. The imprint on the back of a studio portrait is "A.J. & W. Bovill, Photographers, New Westminster, B.C."
      The 1901 England, Wales and Scotland census stated he was living with his brother Wheatley Bovill and two other family members. While A.J. managed a farm, Wheatley was "living on own means" with these family members in the town of Prestwood, Buckinghamshire.
