    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: When he immigrated from England in Jun 1911 on the Empress of Britain he gave his occupation as photographer. A Victoria Times obituary states he moved from Winnipeg, MB, 26 years ago (1914); no occupational information was provided.
      Between 1920 and 1924 he maintained two residences in Victoria and Vancouver, working in the latter city as a photographer for Frank Gowen Company Ltd., Gowen Sutton Company Ltd. and Leonard Frank's Commercial Photo Company.
      For the years in which he is listed as a photographer in the Victoria business directories and only his residence is given, it is not known if he was operating out of his home or working for another photographer.
