    • STATUS: Amateur.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A Dominion Land Surveyor and civil engineer, Garden photographed, as reported by the Vancouver News-Advertiser, the Lake Coquitlam area in 1887. The previous year he photographed in the Kamloops area where he was surveying part of the Railway Belt land grant. He was mayor of Vancouver from 1898 to 1900, and a Vancouver MLA from 1900 to 1909.
