    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: As Peebles and Heckley he was manufacturing and upholstering furniture in New Westminster in Aug 1886. Listed as an agent in the 1890 directory, he formed a partnership as an assistant to Albert Mountain in 1891 (Mountain and Heckley). He photographed on his own between 1892-1895. On 31 Aug 1891 he photographed the steamer Surrey and her crew for reproduction in the Dominion Illustrated. He was listed as an artist in the 1895 directory.
