    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: An important Canadian ethnographer and folklorist, he photographed among the Indigenous communities of the Nass and Skeena rivers, much of it during the 1920s. He worked for the National Museum of Canada (now the Canadian Museum of History) from 1911 to 1949.
