    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A member of a Northwest Mounted Police force that left Regina, SK, on 1 Jun 1895, he reached St. Michaels, Alaska, via Seattle on 3 July 1895. His unit was stationed at ______________. Equipped with a complete photographic outfit, except for a filter to reduce the flat effect of photographing snow, Haynes described some of the difficulties he encountered photographing in the Yukon.
