    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He operated under the name Crown Photographers (1919) in Vancouver. He worked for Steffens-Colmer Ltd. between 1924-1926, then was a co-proprietor of the Carlton Studio in 1927 and 1928. By 1930-1931 he was working for Steffens-Colmer Ltd. again. Between 1934 and 1936 he managed the Steffens-Colmer Studio branch in Victoria.
      Between 1936 and 1942 he operated at various Victoria addresses before settling on his final studio address in 1943. By 1951 he was the proprietor of the Vibraphone Agency in Victoria; based on a newspaper ad, it appears to be a type of hearing aid and not the musical instrument.
