    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Married in 1917 to Dorothea Kathleen Scott, the 1921 Canada census shows him as a cashier for the Pacific Great Eastern Railway while she had no occupation. They lived at 4020 Glen Drive. Before and after his brief stint as a photographer he worked as a bookkeeper and prospector for various companies.
      He was the proprietor of the Russell Studio in Vancouver in 1931.
