    • STATUS: Commercial; Studio.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: This was a partnership of L.C. Hughes and R.J. Hughes. Although they had worked together as photographers since their 1926 directory listing, they only used this business name over two directory years. R.J. Hughes moved to Vancouver around 1932 and L.C. Hughes remained in Trail where he operated as Hughes Studio beginning with the 1931 directory year.
      In 1924 one of them captured the dramatic funeral of Doukhobor leader Peter Lordly (Veregin) at Brilliant, BC.
