    • STATUS: Commercial.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: Drafted for World War One service in March 1918, he gave his occupation as photographer. He served only in England and following his discharge in 1919 he returned to that line of work under the business name of Universal Photographer, later Universal Photographers, initially offering amateur photo finishing and picture framing. Last listed under the latter name in the 1925 business directory, the next year he started as Stride Studios. He also operated or managed Brighton Studio in 1924. According to his death registration record he last worked at photography in December 1969.
