    • STATUS: Commercial.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He immigrated to Winnipeg, MB, via Quebec City, QC, aboard the Sicilian in Jul 1904. The Canada passenger list gave his occupation as "clerk."
      He first worked as a clerk for the Bright Stationery Company, whose manager was John Love, then R.M. Love became the managerin 1907. The next year he advertised as an independent photographer, specializing in landscapes and architecture. He was last listed as a photographer in 1910 and subsequently became a real estate agent and financial broker.
      By the time he remarried in 1913 he was a widower and gave his occupation as "broker."
      Enlisting in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in Vancouver in 1916, he was killed in action in France the following year. His widow later moved to California.
