    • STATUS: Finisher.
    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: At the time of his marriage he was a naval officer residing at the Royal Naval College of Canada in Esquimalt. According to his immigration record, he arrived in August 1918 but had visited Canada previously between 1910 and 1912. By the mid-1930s he was working as a finisher for Robert Fort.

      His wife, who went by Winifred, was an amateur photographer and in 1934 won honourable mention in a monthly competition sponsored by the Daily Colonist. [8]
