    • BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: He arrived in Barkerville, Cariboo mining district, in Sep 1886 and spent his entire life in the area as a prospector and miner. None of the three sets of archival fonds preserved by three different institutions appear to contain any photographs taken by him. The BC Archives, however, has several photographs credited to him.
