    BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: His obituary reported that he had toured the province as an itinerant photographer in 1897 with Almeron Newman in a horse-drawn cart. Most of the photographs were lost in a fire in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, in 1917. Married in 1898, he operated music and art stores in Moose Jaw from 1900-1922 when he joined the Osborne Calendar Co. He moved to Vancouver in 1937 and retired in 1951 after working as a salesman for Sutherland Press.
